WellFest, Ireland’s first and largest health and wellbeing festival, has been rescheduled in light of the spread of COVID-19. WellFest, in partnership with KBC Bank Ireland, was due to take place on 9-10 May in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin. WellFest will now take place at the same venue on 26-27 September 2020.
Commenting today, Helena Ryan, Co-Founder of WellFest, said: “Health and wellbeing is at the core of our ethos at WellFest, and with the health of our attendees, presenters and sponsors in mind, we have taken the decision to postpone WellFest 2020 in association with KBC until September. We have made the decision in light of the current Government guidelines on mass gatherings due to COVID-19 and will continue to monitor all guidance provided by the authorities as the new date approaches.
“Tickets already purchased will be automatically transferred to the new dates. We and our ticket provider See Tickets have been in touch with all ticket holders with more information, including information for those no longer in a position to attend on the September dates.”
“While we are disappointed we have to postpone the festival, the health and wellbeing of everyone involved with the event is our key concern. We look forward to bringing an incredible WellFest 2020 in association with KBC to Kilmainham in September and will be sharing more details about the event in the coming weeks and months. We’ll also be continuing to share free health and wellness resources via wellfest.ie including the ongoing WellGood campaign in partnership with KBC featuring video workouts, Pilates and yoga as well as podcast episodes.”
“We are also exploring options to reschedule the UK event due to take place in June and will provide updates in the coming weeks.”
