A song that can reduce anxiety? Really? Now how about that! So I had a listen.
And it is lovely. And also very, very soothing. If you’re struggling with insomnia or needing an urgent bit of time out in the middle of your day – you might find this really helpful.
The group that created it, Marconi Union, did so in collaboration with sound therapists. It’s carefully arranged harmonies, rhythms and bass lines help slow a listener’s heart rate, reduce blood pressure and lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol. There’s more about it here if you’re curious.
