Good morning everyone and Happy Monday to you, wherever you are!
Contributor Natasha Whelehan and I are just back from an incredible weekend spent in the sun and fun of WellFest 2019. And I really mean it when I say, it was incredible!
We went to talks on food, lifestyle, happiness, self-discovery and fitness.
We ate healthy food from Blazing Salads and Shaka Poké, vegan junk food from I-can’t-remember-where, drank gorgeous coffee from Coco Brew and sampled our way around the health, wellness, fitness and Supervalu supplier tents.
We walked and talked in the sun and met up with many of our other Happy Magazine contributors and friends including Ruth from Yogaru and Sylvia from Fit With Sylvia. What can I say – it was absolutely fantastic – and I will be buzzing for quite awhile after it.
Were you there? Did you have a good time?
If you were not there, don’t despair – because this week on Happy Magazine, we will be bringing you the highlights and key take-aways of what we experienced, starting tomorrow with our very best bit of all:
Self-Discovery and Happiness
Tomorrow we have a new video for you from Gerry Hussey – his Sunday afternoon WellFest talk on the keys to self-discovery and happiness. It was completely and utterly mind-blowing (and I don’t ever write those words without proper cause for them) and incredibly relevant for anyone who is currently going through cancer, living with cancer or after cancer (or any other major life-altering event). I can’t wait to share it with you. And watch it again myself. And share it with everyone, and I mean everyone, I know. It was excellent. Truly powerful and emotional stuff.
For the rest of the week then, we have more video content from some of the food/nutrition talks we were at and lots and lots of insights to share from Miriam Hussey, Fearne Cotton, Joe Wicks, Dr Megan Rossi, Dale Pinnock and more.
I hope you will follow along this week for our special WellFest Week and let us know in the comments which content resonates with you.
See you tomorrow!
