Netflix Recommendation: Brené Brown – The Call to Courage

Brené Brown is a research professor and best-selling author from the US. She also has one of the most viewed TED talks of all time, on the topic of vulnerability. My friend Cathy McCarthy recommended I check this inspiring woman out and I’m so glad she did.

I watched Brené Brown’s new Netflix talk ‘The Call to Courage’ last week and enjoyed it so much. She is witty, funny and super smart. Her insights into why the world needs vulnerability are refreshing and motivating.

Facing and overcoming your fears

If you feel you are struggling to find the courage within yourself for wherever you are right now in your life, I think you might find this helpful. It’s an empowering discussion about facing and overcoming your fears. It’s about why being courageous is also being vulnerable. In it, Brené will challenge you to be bold and step fearlessly into uncertainty and the unknown.

It’s an easy, pleasant viewing, perfect for a Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Here’s the trailer…

It’s only available on Netflix currently, you can find it here.
