Deep breathing for the lymphatic system and stress reduction

Aideen at Beautiful Life is an experienced Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist. In today’s post Aideen shares with us a description of what deep diaphragmatic breathing is and it’s possible benefits with the lymphatic system and stress reduction.

Deep diaphragmatic breathing, or yoga breathing as it is often called, is very beneficial for the lymphatic system as well as for stress reduction.

In this 4 minute clip, I talk you through the breathing technique and explain how the diaphragm muscle works.

Make yourself comfortable in a chair with both feet on the floor, or sitting cross-legged on the floor if you prefer. Be sure your back is straight and you can completely relax your body for the next 4 minutes without needing to force or strain your body to stay in position.

Enjoy.
