7 Days of Slow Living from Pick Up Limes

It’s Saturday! And that means – another Pick Up Limes video here on Happy Magazine – and another opportunity to slow down, recharge and unwind.

This 7 Days of Slow Living video and accompanying printable aims to help you do exactly that – slow down the pace of your life, mindfully, over the next 7 days.

Watch the video first for an insight into what Sadia’s idea is with this. If you like it, download the printable, print it, and use it over the next 7 days to experience your life a little more mindfully.

It’s all about slowing down, living in the present moment, savouring each and every moment and finding maximum joy in your day.

It’s all very easy and requires little effort – think simple exercises like engaging the five senses to bring yourself fully into the present moment, clearing the mind by clearing some space around us, finding time for gratitude and compassion and using audio to bring a sense of calmness.

If you find yourself always busy, busy, busy, this little guide might be a lovely way to start your weekend.

PS – There’s a fantastic Audible book recommendation in this video, if you’re on Audible, keep a look out for it.

About Sadia and the Pick Up Limes YouTube channel

Sadia is a Canadian foodie and Dietetics Graduate currently living in The Netherlands. She now works as a YouTube content creator for her channel Pick Up Limes – an online community of over 1 million people.

She also regularly adds new plant-based recipes to her blog, along with uncomplicated and informative nutrition articles.

The Pick Up Limes food philosophy is to take things back to the basics. Sadia believes in eating as much whole-food, plant-based ingredients as is reasonable to each individual, using food as a way to nourish ourselves. She also believes that when it comes to diet, each person is unique and individual, and it’s important that we all honour where we are at.

Sadia has very kindly given her permission to us to share some of her content on a regular basis here on Happy Magazine and we are just delighted.
