The CanPlan – A planner to help you through cancer + A Giveaway!

Have you heard of the CanPlan? It’s a unique planner specifically for people going through cancer, created by US-based Sharon Kim after her mother’s own battle with cancer.

Sharon initially launched the CanPlan on crowdfunding site Kickstarter, and it is now on Version 3 which is an A5 size leather ring binder. Here is a video of Sharon explaining what the CanPlan is and why she started it.

Sharon calls the The CanPlan a roadmap, organiser and therapist all in one.

Here are a few of the planner’s features…

Sharon’s excellent images reveal all that the CanPlan has to offer.

There’s a Daily Tracker…

The Monthly Calendar (undated)…

And Monthly Review sections:

A very useful Appointment Tracker and Medication Legend…

There’s info spreads offering tips on chemo and diet during cancer…

There are self reflection, positivity and brain exercises and a very useful section on questions for your doctor.

As well as lots more! Which you can check out here.

With refills also available, we think this planner has all you could ever need for keeping everything very organised in your journey through cancer.

The CanPlan is clearly the culmination of a lot of hard work by creator Sharon. And also, a complete labour of love in honour of her adored mom Ruby.

We have been overwhelmingly inspired by Sharon’s story and her triumph of a planner and wish her well with this endeavour.

PS, The CanPlan Instagram feed is super inspiring and definitely one to watch.

So how much is it and where can you get one?

If the CanPlan looks like something you think you’d find helpful, you can buy a planner from Sharon through her website shop for just under €40. Shipping to Ireland is an additional €17.50. Or if you have a printer at home and an old A5 Filofax ring binder, you can buy the full CanPlan Planner as a PDF Download for a bargain price under €10.

We’re delighted that Sharon has sent us one to give away!!! Hooray! And thank you Sharon!

What a super idea. I can see it would really allow me to take controll of my schedule rather than depending on family … small compact so portable I could have beside me at all times … my one stop shop/planner … just love it 🤗

This looks great. I’ve finished most of my treatment but it would have been wonderful to have had something like this to keep track. I would however like to win this, as a dear friend is just starting into a long road of chemo, surgery, rads that’s going to take most of the year. She has a lot on her plate and I know she could, and would use this.
