Day 4: Holiday TV – Australia’s Best Home

Each week, two designers and an architect stay overnight at three fantastic homes in Australia so the public can pick which of the trio will be a finalist for “Australia’s Best Home.” Artfully presented by the cast of three, this reality TV series is feel-good and inspiring watching. 

As well as a nosy around some of the most incredible homes in Australia, the presenters discuss architecture, interior design and how you can “get the look” in your own home. They also inject their own heart and soul into the show – it’s very enjoyable watching and the houses are all wonderful eye candy – think beautiful beachside mansions, stunning off-grid holiday homes powered by solar panels and purpose-built outback lifestyle houses and you’re heading in the right direction.

It has already aired on Australian TV so the voting part of the show is closed now, and the winner of the title of “I Own Australia’s Best Home” has been chosen (they won $30,000 for a charity of their choice), but this doesn’t take away from the experience of watching the show now on Netflix.
