The review

I’ve been using the Green Angel Argan Body Oil for the past six weeks or so. My skin is generally really quite dry, and I had just come back from holidays a week or so before I started to use it, so it was extra dry. On first use, the main scent to me was geranium and lavender. Personally, I like both so I find the smell lovely and relaxing, but I could imagine if you aren’t a fan of essential oils, you might find the smell a bit overpowering. Argan oil contains Omega 6 and 9, and is wonderful for plumping and hydrating the skin and the body oil also contains vitamin E which is a powerful antioxidant. The oil works well on stretch marks and cellulite and should be applied in circular motions towards the heart.

I’ve never been a huge fan of body oils, as I find them a bit messy, but this is lightweight and rapidly absorbed, but even so, I found the best time to use it was straight after a shower or bath, when my skin was still wet. I massaged a small amount in circular motions with medium pressure, concentrating on the dryer areas around my arms and elbows etc. Some people may prefer to use the oil on dry skin, depending on personal preference.

After a couple of uses, my skin felt so much softer, it was definitely feeling less dry. After six weeks of using it, my skin feels more supple and plump and definitely looks much better than it did. The dryness on my arms and elbows has completely resolved. I’ve religiously applied it after every shower, which is unusual for me, as I usually chop and change between products, but I have already purchased my second bottle as I found it so good.
