Pink Coffee Morning – Life after breast cancer surgery

Physiofit Woman is hosting a Pink Coffee Morning this Sunday, 21 October at 11.30am in their clinic on the Kylemore Road, Dublin 12.

This combined coffee morning and talk aims at educating and empowering women after cancer.

Organiser Deborah Fernandes, MISCP, says, “There is so much that we can do in terms of Oncology Physiotherapy, to help minimise the consequences of surgery and as Emma Hannigan said in her book “Talk to the Headscarf”, LIFE IS FOR LIVING, so let us live well!”

Deborah will share her 23 years of experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Women’s Health and as a Lymphoedema Therapist, covering the following:

  • Lymphoedema
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage
  • Scar Treatment and Care
  • Movement & Exercise
  • Massage

Special guests, Regina Quinn, MPSI from Cunnigham’s Pharmacy in Bray, will be talking about compression garments and the process of being fitted for them.

This Pink Coffee Morning is also a tribute to Emma Hannigan and all pink warriors.
