The Hospital Survival Pack from Cancer Care Parcel + A Giveaway!

Cancer Care Parcel is a UK business selling thoughtful, comforting and appropriate cancer gifts.

They have a wide range of cancer care parcels covering every patient – menwomenteens and kids, as well as hospital parcels and parcels specifically for chemotherapyradiotherapy and cancer drug therapy.

We shared their Cancer Comfort Box with you a month or two ago in a video review and we also had one to give away. Today we’re delighted to be showing you another one of their parcels, this one is their Hospital Survival Gift Pack. And yes, we’ve got one to give away! 🎉

About Cancer Care Parcel

After Dr Shara Cohen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 she found there was very little time to just relax, take it all in and give herself ‘me’ time.

With all the appointments, liaising with work, telling the people who needed to be told… there was little time to digest what was happening, research the practicalities or to just relax. So she set up Cancer Care Parcel, to enable children and adults with cancer to take some of the worries away and bring some calm back into their lives.

The Hospital Survival Gift Pack

The Hospital Survival Gift Pack is full of thoughtful and helpful items for anyone going through cancer and we think, a much better gift than the often-bought bunch of flowers. It’s also suitable for men or for women. We did a video of all the contents in the box (and what we think of them!), you can watch it below.

Here is a glimpse of some of the other parcels available on their website too:

There are even parcels for finishing treatment and a Cancer Inspiration Pack. A lot of thought has gone into this business and every gift.

We particularly think a Cancer Care Parcel would make a wonderful gift from a person’s employer – who might be short on time and perhaps unsure what is appropriate to buy – the Cancer Care Parcel website has plenty of options and takes all the hassle out of choosing a thoughtful gift. The website offers an easy purchase experience, fast shipping (nationwide in Ireland too) and even a way to share the cost of a parcel among a group of people.

Finally, the Hospital Survival Gift Pack is currently on sale. If you’ve got a hospital stay coming up, why not treat yourself and get organised in one easy step with this useful box of items for your hospital bag?

Love the quality of the items in the pack…i especially love the slippers so you are not throwing out your favourite slippers after your stay. I would add in a high quality noise cancelling ear buds that mold inside your ear…..to get those zzzzz. Also a must for me is a lip balm.

I would add a small rechargeable fan – hospitals get very hot and fan useful as meds start to kick in.

This Cancer Care box certainly deserves 10 out of 10 – I had no idea that my hospital bag is missing so much – surgery in a few weeks. I always love to have lip balm during hospital visits so this may be ideal to include

What a wonderful selection of essentials, I think the wipes are a must – you go through so many of them in hospital. I think it might be a good idea to add a selection of herbal teas and also perhaps a craft kit. Something else I would add would be a puzzle book. Anything to distract the mind and relax you xx

Great gift, practical items for hospital stay. Would also include baby wipes, lip balm and peppermint oil (recommended by fantastic nurse to sniff when feeling queasy from chemo)
