Essential viewing: HEAL

Good morning all. This is a post from back in January but we really think it’s worth sharing with you again in case you missed it. It’s a documentary which we feel should be essential viewing after a cancer diagnosis. It’s called HEAL and it’s available to rent on iTunes for €4.99 or to buy for €14.99 and we think it’s worth every penny.

HEAL takes the viewer on a scientific and spiritual journey to discover that our thoughts, beliefs and emotions have a huge impact on our health and our ability to heal. Don’t worry though – there is no heartbreak here – it is uplifting and positive and we have no doubt that you will be happy you watched it afterwards. We think that you will be thinking about it long after you have seen it. In fact, we think it could be life-changing. Here’s the trailer…

HEAL shows the latest science reveals that we are not victims of unchangeable genes, nor should we buy into a scary prognosis. The fact is we have more control over our health and life than we have been taught to believe.

This film will empower you with a new understanding of the miraculous nature of the human body and the extraordinary healer within us all. HEAL not only taps into the brilliant minds of leading scientists and spiritual teachers, but follows three people on actual high stakes healing journeys. Healing can be extremely complex and deeply personal, but it can also happen spontaneously in a moment. Through these inspiring and emotional stories we find out what works, what doesn’t, and why.

HEAL refers to the following 9 keys to wellness and explores most of them in depth:

  • Radically changing your diet
  • Taking control of your health
  • Following your intuition
  • Using herbs and supplements
  • Releasing suppressed emotions
  • Increasing positive emotions
  • Embracing social support
  • Deepening your spiritual connection
  • Have a strong reason for living

We cannot recommend this documentary enough. It has really helped us and we want it to help you too.
