1. Fresh Resolutions

Fresh Resolutions is taking place on Saturday 6 January in the RDS in Dublin. Bringing together 16 speakers from across the health and wellness industry, it promises to be a dynamic day of discussion, learning and goal-setting.

Doors for the event will open at 9am and the first speaker will hit the stage at 10am. The day will run till 5pm with a mixture of talks, panel discussions and Q&A sessions with the audience.

2. BEO

The BEO health and wellness events are happening across four dates in January – on the 6th and 7th in Limerick, on the 14th in Galway and the 20th in Clare.

The aim of the events is to inspire, motivate and encourage self-care for the mind, body and soul.

BEO describes the events as a day to recharge and refocus in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere – the perfect opportunity to spend time with friends, indulge in brunch classics, enjoy an educational and entertaining afternoon including a dynamic panel discussion, topical keynote speakers, pop-up shops, plenty of laughs and goodies galore. 

Wellness

Returning to BEO in the New Year to share her inspirational wellness journey is household name, Síle Seoige. Self-Care Advocate, Cancer Survivor, Yoga Teacher and most recently a brand new mum to baby Cathal, Sile has undoubtedly overcome adversity through her resilience, strength of character, positivity and determination. Sile will lead a simple cleansing and grounding guided Meditation at the events.

Mind

BEO promotes taking care of your mind and the way that you speak to yourself. A new face to the BEO family is life coach, Pat Divilly. He is passionate about helping people ‘upgrade’ their thinking to find more passion, purpose and fulfillment from all aspects of life, whether it be their physical or emotional fitness, their relationships, their career or their ‘crazy ambitions and dreams’.

Food

Everyday food choices affect your health, vitality, energy and overall happiness and outlook on life. BEO wants to help you learn how to intentionally use food to your personal advantage with My Nutrition, a Nutritional & Health Consultancy which was set up by man and wife, Thomas Coleman and Jeeny Maltese.

Style

BEO also includes Style on their agenda. AnneMarie O’Connor, an award-winning fashion writer, stylist, wardrobe wellness coach, and bestselling author, wants to help you transform your wardrobe and your mind into a zen, clutter-free zone.

Aoibhín Garrihy will host the BEO Talk which will see three inspirational ladies take to the couch to share their self-care message. Doireann Garrihy will discuss highs and lows from the digital world and offer mindful social media advice. Leanne Moore will talk about the importance of physical fitness for wellness and for the overall happiness in your life. Author of Pain Free Life and wellness advocate Andrea Hayes will share her personal healing tools and how she made the journey from patient to person.

The food on the day shouldn’t disappoint either – BEO is intent on spreading the message of living a healthy lifestyle, dispelling the common misconception that healthy food is boring. BEO aspires to only serve ingredients that are of very high quality, organic, free range and locally sourced where possible. Clean eating just got a whole lot tastier! Dishes can be adapted to suit gluten-free diets and the kitchen is happy to adapt and cater to suit your dietary needs.

Each attendee will also be treated to a luxury goodie bag and there will be lots and lots of prizes on the day.

BEO is proudly supporting two Irish charities ELEVATE – Raising the Banner for Youth Wellness and Jigsaw – The National Centre for Youth Mental Health. Both charities provide vital supports to young people with their mental health by working closely with communities across Ireland. BEO will hold a charity raffle at each event and divide proceeds equally between both organisations.

3. Alison Canavan’s Full 360

Following on from Alison Canavan’s hugely successful Full 360 event last September, her wellness events are now going nationwide:

Cork – 25 March, Radisson Blu, Little Island

4. Breathe & Be

Breathe & Be is a Yoga and Wellbeing event series held by Miriam Kerins of The Awakening in Union Café, Mount Merrion, Dublin. The next one takes place on 13 January.

These Awakening events will take place one Saturday every month in 2018 (see dates below).

Breathe & Be will a morning event from 10am – 1pm and will focus on movement, conversation and relaxation to energise and rejuvenate Mind, Body and Spirit.

The day will incorporate Yoga, integrated wellbeing techniques and tools, meditation, cleansing breath work and real honest conversations about life, it’s challenges and its beauty.

Each event will focus on different topics and areas of wellness, ranging from Nutrition, Stress management, Emotional eating, Spirituality, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Integrative Medicine, all of which aim to Awaken your Inner Pharmacy.

10am – Revitalise morning Yoga and cleansing breathing techniques

11am – Integrated Wellness talk and conversations around real health and wellness

12pm – Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation

1pm – close with free time to chat, meet like minded people and to connect

Course details

Over 6 weeks you will learn how to plan healthy meals, shop for them and prepare nutritious food every day of the week with our time-saving systems. You will gain body confidence through our workshops with positive visualisations, affirmations, learning how to make the most of your energy at different points in your menstrual cycle. Self-care and mindfulness techniques to keep you motivated. Tackle your sleep, body image and diet all in one go!

Our Dublin 8 venue will also enjoy 5 yoga classes for strength and flexibility (all levels, please advise in advance if you are pregnant) on weeks 2-6 of the course taught by Isabel Machedo (Elbow Room)
