Shine Cancer Support Blog – Living with cancer in your 20s, 30s and 40s

We came across the Shine Cancer Support Blog on Twitter the other day. Shine Cancer Support is the only charity in the UK exclusively focused on supporting adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have been diagnosed with cancer. They feature lots of great writers on their blog, all of whom capture the young adult cancer experience.

Some recent posts include:

Lost and found: Friendship after cancer
Improving treatment and support for young adults with cancer in the UK and Europe
How running and cycling taught me to cope with chemotherapy
10 things you shouldn’t say to someone with cancer
Getting connected: Shine Conference

We especially loved Breathe and bend: How yoga can help you cope with cancer and The lowdown on eating well after cancer which includes some easy recipes.

The blog has been going since 2012 so there is plenty of great content to keep you interested. If you’re going through a cancer journey and are aged in your 20s, 30s or 40s, we encourage you to check out both the Shine Cancer Support website as well as their blog. Shine Cancer Support are also active on Twitter and Facebook too if you’d like to follow them there.
