Bedtime gratitude

A wonderful way to fall asleep is to use a tiny object to practice gratitude. At Alison Canavan’s Full 360 event, she gave us all a tiny pebble for this purpose. She told us to keep it on our bedside table and when we saw it every night, to climb into bed and hold the pebble in our hand. And then to think about three things that you were grateful for from the day and to think on them.

It’s a lovely peaceful way to clear your head and think positively just before you go to sleep. We’ve been doing it ever since and find it easier and easier to think of more and more things we are grateful for every day – soon it’s not just three things you think of but seven or eight – a great reminder of all the good things that do happen every day.
